ANATOMY IN MOTION PART 3 – Lower Limb

Part 2 of a series of 3 workshops that will look into anatomy, spinal mechanics in specific asanas, common conditions and how to look after them as a yogi or teacher.
Tim Goullet is teaching a series of three workshops on anatomy and physiology specifically for yoga teachers and practitioners.
The courses are designed to deepen the understanding of the body, particularly with regard to yoga asanas. This is an opportunity to refine your yoga practice with the application of scientific biomechanical principles covered in the course.
The courses will include the following –
- In-depth anatomical lectures including embryology and myofascial systems
- Analysis of yoga asanas from a biomechanical standpoint
- Exploring the variations in bodies and how this effects postures
- Common injuries and how to help them/prevent them e.g. lumbar disc injuries.
Workshop One – 17th May – Neck, thoracic spine and upper limb. Workshop Two – 13th September – Lumbar spine and pelvis
